Without eSenZ
At peak sun the plant tries to generate more than 2 MW. Staff must watch the power manually and reduce string inputs or adjust generation by hand, losing energy and time.
DEMAND CONTROL · POWER LIMITER · INDIA
If your plant is permitted to supply only up to a set limit, eSenZ Demand Control holds it there automatically. Set the limit once and it raises or lowers inverter output in real time, so power never crosses it.

HOW IT WORKS
Enter your permitted level in eSenZ, for example 2 MW.
eSenZ reads plant output at the metering point continuously.
It increases or decreases each inverter's power percentage dynamically to stay at the limit.
Live output against the limit, history and alerts on the eSenZ portal.
EXAMPLE
At peak sun the plant tries to generate more than 2 MW. Staff must watch the power manually and reduce string inputs or adjust generation by hand, losing energy and time.
Set the limit to 2 MW once. eSenZ raises and lowers each inverter’s power percentage in real time, holding output right at 2 MW whenever the sun allows, with no manual work.
WHY ESENZ
Output is held at the permitted level, all day, automatically.
No more watching the meter and switching off strings at peak.
Output rises again as soon as there is headroom, so you generate right up to the limit.
Make full use of a large DC array without crossing your AC limit.
Works with the inverters you already have over RS485 Modbus.
Wire the devices on site; our team sets the limit and configures it remotely.
WHO IT’S FOR
Installed and supported in all states of India, and abroad in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Congo and other countries. 4,240+ live installations through 366+ integrators.
Running a large plant? Demand Control also runs inside the eSenZ PC-based SCADA, together with every other eSenZ control and full site monitoring.
FAQ
Demand control keeps a solar plant at or below a set power limit. The eSenZ controller measures output continuously and raises or lowers inverter power to hold the permitted level.
Many plants have more DC panel capacity than their permitted AC limit, for example 4 MW of DC with a 2 MW permission. At peak sun, output can go above the limit unless it is controlled.
Staff had to watch the power manually and reduce string inputs or adjust generation by hand, which loses energy and needs constant attention.
Zero export keeps grid export at zero. Demand control holds output at a limit you choose, such as 2 MW, and lets the plant generate right up to it.
Only the power above your limit is held back. When output falls below the limit, eSenZ raises the inverters again.
eSenZ supplies and supports Demand Control in all states of India, and abroad in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Congo and other countries.
