Esenz Innovations Private Limited ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use the Esenz mobile application ("the App").
1. Information We Collect and Store
The App collects limited information necessary to provide its functionality:
- Data Logger ID (User ID): A unique identifier assigned to each Esenz Data Logger system.
- Device Information: Device ID, model, and operating system version.
- FCM Token: A unique token used to deliver push notifications.
- Local Storage: The App stores Data Logger credentials (username and password) securely on your device.
2. How We Use the Information
- To authenticate and connect to the Esenz Data Logger
- To send real-time alerts and notifications
- To associate your device with your Data Logger ID
3. Server Communication and Notification Processing
The Esenz Data Logger communicates with our backend servers to process device data and generate alerts.
- Data Logger events are received and processed on our servers
- Data Logger ID is used to identify the correct user
- Device information and FCM token are used to route notifications
We process only the minimum required data to deliver alerts. This data is not used for advertising or profiling.
4. Push Notifications
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a service provided by Google, to send alerts.
- Data Logger ID
- Device ID
- FCM Token
This data is used solely to deliver relevant notifications.
5. Permissions Required
- Internet Access: Required to fetch Data Logger data and communicate with our servers
- Storage Access: Required to store login credentials locally
6. Local Data Storage
- Esenz Data Logger username
- Esenz Data Logger password (stored securely)
This data:
- Is stored only on your device
- Is protected using Android secure storage mechanisms
- Can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) by Google for push notifications
Notification data is securely transmitted via our servers to Firebase for delivery.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. Information such as Data Logger ID, device information, and FCM token is securely transmitted and handled.
9. User Control
- You can disable notifications in your device settings
- You can remove stored data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app
10. No Advertisements or Payments
The App does not include ads, in-app purchases, or payment features.
11. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
