What is DG isolation for solar?
DG isolation stops solar generation whenever the diesel generator is running. The eSenZ controller brings the inverters down to 0% generation as soon as the DG switches on.
Why stop solar when the DG runs?
On some sites the generator should not share load with solar, or must be protected from power flowing back into it. Isolation keeps the DG and solar completely separate.
What is the difference between DG Isolation and DG Synch?
DG Isolation takes solar to 0% while the DG runs. DG Synch keeps solar running with the DG and shares the load to save up to 40% diesel.
Does DG isolation need manual action?
No. eSenZ detects the DG and controls the inverters automatically.
